SkamoEnclosure Boards (Formerly Skamotec 225) are light-weight, non-combustible building boards that simplifies the surround construction process by eliminating the need for steel or distance from combustible materials. SkamoEnclosure provides quick, easy installations. It is truly the only product you need for fireplace surround construction.
The high Heat resistance of SkamoEnclosure allows the product to withstand continuous heat cycles to full service temperature limit and the low thermal conductivity provides maximum insulation throughout the temperature range – making it the ideal product when building custom fireplace enclosures.
SkamoEnclosure retains exhibits good insulating properties with an R-value of 4 per inch. high mechanical strength, excellent screw holding strength, and low thermal conductivity. The maximum service temperatures is 1000 degrees Celsius (more than 2,000 degrees F)
One full pallet of SkamoEnclosure contains a minimum of 10 sheets measuring 80.3″ x 48″ x 1", 1-1/2", or 2". Custom shapes and kits can be supplied to your specifications.
